SIL3 16-pos X1-Series Term Board for Safety Manager SC PUIO01 and PDIO01 Card

This Termination Board (X1-TB) provides direct connection between the I/O Card of the system and X1-Series modules. Galvanic isolation or conditioning is provided by Repeaters/Converters (X1-NIS). The 24 Vdc Power Supply of the X1-TB is connected to two plug-in terminal blocks, for redundant power supply. A monitoring circuit activates a cumulative fault in case of supply or module failure. The board can host a gateway belonging to the X1-GW series for module identification, configuration and monitoring.

Voltage 24 Vdc nom (20 to 28.8 Vdc), reverse polarity protected, double terminal blocks for redundant power supply, with OR diodes to mix voltages.

Fault
Type The on-board diagnostic monitors both power supplies integrity and the module failures. Any malfunction is reported by deactivating a solidstate relay and activating the corresponding LEDs.
Cumulative alarm is issued if:
1) Power supply 1 or 2 < 17 Vdc or > 33 Vdc or
2) Any module failure active.
Cumulative alarm is removed if:
1) 20 Vdc < Power supply 1 and 2 < 30 Vdc and
2) No module failure.
Connection by polarized plug-in disconnect screw terminal blocks.
Ratings 100 mA 35 V (≤ 1 V voltage drop).

Field Interface
Connection by polarized plug-in disconnect 8-position screw or pushin spring terminal blocks.

System interface
Type The system interface sinks current, hence it requires source I/O cards.
Connection one SUB-D 37 poles male connector (requiring female mating connector).
Cable FS-SICC5xxx.
